As a survivor, and now thriver, post domestic abuse, it is my dream, and honor to create a safe place of help and resources for women in need. It is my goal to educate communities on this societal issue and bring resources and healing to as many as possible. ❤️

A survivor of domestic violence, Carla has a strong passion to listen to & help others, especially those that are victims and/or survivors of abuse. She believes others can reach deep within themselves and find the courage & strength to get out of toxic relationships, much like she did after several years of struggling to be free.

Board of Directors

The Soul Sister Foundation, as a not for profit  organization, operates  under the direction of 4 board members plus the Chairman of the Board. Selection of said board members has been initially conducted by the founder/chairman Mary F. Holliday and will serve a minimum committed term of 2 years, beginning August 1 of every even numbered year. If a board member is unable to complete their term, their potential replacement shall be brought before the remaining board and chairman for consideration and vote. This is a volunteer position and members are not be financially compensated for their part in governing activities or decisions.
